Most of the times the upper and lower clutch cylinders in your Dudo will go bad after 40-50 years of use...
We advise you to replace the complete system (both cilinders, the hose, the fluid & small parts) all at once.
Since there is a variation of set-ups as installed by Mercedes, We offer you the correct replacement-set (like on the pictures) when you send us the vin-number of your vehicle during your order.
A combination of moisture in the system together with the deterioration of the hose is most likely the culprit of the wear (and leakage) of the cylinders.
(Old inner wall of the hose pulverizes, this loose material floats through the system).
If this hose is not replaced at the same time as both clutch cylinders, you can assume that the new cylinders will soon show leaks again...
Because the fluid reservoir of the clutch and the brake system (in this type of vehicle) are often combined, we also advise to check the brake cylinders and/or to replace them preventively together with the three brake hoses...
This set contains (depending on your vin number):
1x Upper clutch cilinder (master)
And various small spare parts like:
Connector for return hose on clutch cylinder
Please note that Copper pipe, from clutch master cylinder to hydraulic hose (#488 in drawing), is NOT included in this set, and (if needed) have to be ordered separately
