For example, the much-requested 'Weathermouldings, Window felts, Window scraper, Window weatherstrip, Window channel seal', these horizontal window seals are factory-installed on the roll-down windows in the front doors.
These rubbers are often dried out and pulverized after 40 years of loyal service, and you are therefore confronted with this unpleasant sight every time you get in and out....
Since these window moustaches (or window wiskers / window lickers) are no longer supplied by the Mercedes factory, we have recreated these rubber strips in-house.
These are slightly curved at the ends and have a metal core and velor finish on the window side, just like the original.
We noticed that there are some differences in lengths of this item, originally used by Mercedes. Thats why we have produced this reproduction item in the slightly longer version, so you can cut it yourself in the correct length, if needed.
We offer you a set of two pieces (1x left & 1x right) with the correct metal mounting clips.
Would you rather try to recreate these window seals yourself? of course that is also possible. We also offer this rubber in our webshop as a straight strip of 120cm, and the mounting clips can also be ordered individually there.
